GM Bricklaying Limited looks after the personal details you give us when you get in touch. This notice explains what we do with them, in plain English.

What we collect
The form on this site asks for your name, your phone number and a description of the job. There are two more boxes — your email address and your area — which are optional; the form sends without them.
If you ring, email or send a WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you send us: usually a name, a number, and some detail about the work.
Messages you send by WhatsApp also pass through WhatsApp, which is part of Meta, under their own terms.
We collect nothing else. This site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Why we hold it
For one thing only: to come back to you about the work you asked about, and to price it if you want a quote.
Our legal basis is that you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract — you have asked us to do a job, or to price one. We are not relying on your consent, which is why there is no box to tick. If you would rather we deleted your details, just ask and we will.
We will never sell your details, and we will never add you to a mailing list.
Who sees it
Your details are seen only by GM Bricklaying and, where a job goes ahead, our accountant.
Enquiries reach us by email. Our website and our email are hosted by LetsHost, in Ireland. They hold the details only in order to run those services for us.
If a job goes ahead, our accountant sees the invoice and the usual business records that go with it.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it after twelve months. Where we do carry out the work, the records stay with our business accounts for as long as our accountant needs to keep them.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Nothing is stored on your device, so there is nothing for you to agree to and no banner to click.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us holding it at all. Ring or email and we will sort it out.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, the Irish regulator, at dataprotection.ie.
